Crier Inquires: What do Cougars think of the democratic primary?
Since Super Tuesday just finished, we thought we would ask Cougars about their opinions regarding the 2020 Democratic primaries.
Caroline Kasprzycki, 20’
“They were a big mess, but I’m probably still gonna go with Bernie.”
Filip Dabrowski, 21’
“I’m a republican so I’m primary following the Republican Party, but it seems like Bernie is pulling the lead in the democratic polls. It was interesting to hear that apparently Russia supports him.”
Rishit Patil, 22’
“I don’t necessarily know who’s going to win, but it seems like Sanders is in the lead so far. The candidates are not diverse, but I don’t think that’s really a problem.”
Soham Gupta, 23’
“It’s good that there’s a lot of different candidates from different backgrounds. It helps support a wide variety of Americans in choosing what kind of path they want for our country.”
Mr. Kirby, Social Studies Teacher:
“Right now I think the Democrats are having a hard time identifying themselves as a party. They don’t know if they are as far left as Bernie Sanders or are more moderate like Klobuchar or Biden. They need to find an identity before they stand a chance in a national election.”
I don’t care for Democrsts at all. As far as I am concerned, as a Veteran, and a Patriot,President Trump has done more for this Country and it’s people in the last 58 years than any other President since JFK.
