Crier Wants to Know: What’s the best Halloween candy?

Many kids went trick-or-treating during Halloween yesterday, and while some Conant students have outgrown this tradition, they still have strong opinions about the various types of Halloween candy. To find out which candy students think is the best, the Crier asked students which one they like most and why.

Snickers: “You’re not you when you’re hungry.”

No favorite:“I don’t have a favorite halloween candy in particular but I have to say my least favorite is definitely candy corn. It’s just pure sugar, so it doesn’t taste good.”

Magatte Ndir, ‘27

Skittles: “It makes me feel warm and colorful inside. It makes me feel happy.”

Payton Ackman, ‘28

M&M’s: “My grandpa always had a jar of M&M’S in the basement for us grandkids to eat.”
