Many Conant clubs came together for Cupcakes for a Cause–a benefit to raise money for Special Olympics of Illinois, The Bridge, and Cougars in Need–on Saturday, April 13. The cupcakes, donated by Conant foods classes and local businesses in the community, were sold at $20 a dozen or $2.00 each. To help raise additional money, gift baskets donated by families and local businesses were raffled off at the event.
In addition to buying cupcakes, parents could bring their kids to play games for prizes, make crafts, and more at booths run by clubs as part of the Bunny Eggstravaganza. The booths included an egg hunt run by Student Council, a Wii sports station run by the speech team, and a frisbee game run by Ultimate Frisbee club.
