The Cougars staged a late fourth quarter comeback to edge a 16-12 victory against the Saxons at Schaumburg’s homecoming game. After a relatively dull, low-scoring first two quarters, the intensity picked up towards the end, where the Cougars sealed the victory after a turnover by the Saxons. “The kids won that game,” head coach Anthony Donatucci said after his victory. The atmosphere from the Cougar Crazies was nothing short of electric. With their 3-2 record, the Cougars remain at home next week for their homecoming game against the Hoffman Estates Hawks.
