GALLERY: Conant honors veterans in whole-school assembly
Conant held its biennial Veterans Day assembly on November 11. All students went to the main gym to honor veterans and reflect on the meaning of service, courage, and sacrifice. Thomas Gebavi, ’26, and Liv Stanich, ’26, both of whom plan to enter the armed services following graduation, recited the Pledge of Allegiance. Maya Patel, ‘28, read her Voice of Democracy essay emphasizing the value of freedom. Throughout the day, several veterans, some of whom were in uniform, participated in a panel speaking about their experiences and answering student questions in the auditorium.
