Several clubs decorated cupcakes and ran activities to support Cupcakes For a Cause, a community event that raises money for Cougars in Need, Special Olympics, and Little Friends. This year’s event, held Saturday, April 9, featured a spring theme in place of the traditional Bunny Extravaganza. The cupcakes were sold for $2.00 each or $20 a dozen and were either donated by Conant foods classes or community members. Gift baskets were also donated by local businesses and families to raise extra money. Activities at the event included a paw hunt run by Student Council, a Wii Play station run by the Speech Team, and a frisbee game run by Ultimate Frisbee Club.
