GALLERY: Football vs Fremd
With unfavorable, wet weather and a very quiet crowd as a result, the Cougars had multiple challenges during their game. While Fremd dominated the first half 23-0, the Cougars managed to get two late touchdowns in the fourth quarter, only conceding one in the process. Eventually, on a cold night with frequent spurts of rain, they fell short to the Fremd Vikings, with a final score of 30-14. The Cougars will take on the Barrington Broncos at home next Friday, October 20, which will be ‘Senior Night’ and the final football game of the 2023-24 season.
