Administration serves free breakfast to students

On Friday, administrators served free breakfast to students before school in the cafeteria, coinciding with National School Breakfast Week. Besides serving breakfast, administration also helped prep food in the kitchen.

Principal Julie Nowak said, “We love doing it because we get to see a lot of students and kind of have fun with students in the morning when people are kind of in spring mode and tired of the weather.” She added, “Seeing our students start their day off with a positive note, getting to interact, we really enjoy this morning every year.”

Dean of Students Dave Moravek said, “I really enjoyed working with our kitchen staff today. It was a lot of fun.”

Brendon Kriepke, ‘19, said, “I think it was kind of different, it was kind of warming. It was very nice and sweet. It makes [administration] a little more human.”

Students had many options to choose from, including cinnamon rolls, egg and sausage bagels, pizza bagels, and muffins.
