Tonight, Conant High School’s Junior Class Council (JCC) will be hosting its first JCC Game Night, from 7:00 to 9:00 p.m. This event will be raising money for prom and will have many games designed for anyone to enjoy.

JCC Advisor Danielle Matej said, “We wanted to try something different and an event that would get all ages involved.”

Matej said, “We’re doing games that anyone can participate in. You don’t need to be athletic or a part of a team to be able to complete these tasks. They are minute-to-win-it style games. We will have Human Ring Toss, Scooter Races, Pass the Hula Hoop, Elephant Trunk, Cuphead, Speed Eraser, and many more.”

Matej said, “We’re encouraging people to bring a group, a friend, or just themselves to enjoy a fun night.”

The main purpose of the event is to raise money for prom. Matej said, “Prom is an expensive event that we want to make as enjoyable as possible for juniors and seniors. We work really hard all year to have the funds available to do so.”

JCC Board Member Delaney Demaret, ’20, said, “We have been working on Game Night for a month or so now, and we’re really hoping to get a big turnout at this really fun night.”
